Brilliant for a quick game at Grandma’s. We can lay it out in no time, and everyone gets a go without much faff. It’s made chess far more fun for the kids, which I honestly wasn’t expecting.

I keep this in my bag so it’s easy to take along for after-school games with friends. It gets my child thinking a step ahead, and it’s been a handy way to fill wet afternoons without everyone climbing the walls.

Really like this chess mat. We keep it in the car for long trips, and it’s turned into a bit of a family go-to. Unrolls in seconds, so the kids can play pretty much anywhere without much fuss.

Brilliant for taking away with us. The soft board means we’ve even used it on the grass, and it’s held up well without getting ruined.

This board is easy to roll up and put away, so it’s not forever under our feet. We bring it out at family get-togethers, and even the younger ones can join without it turning into chaos.

This little game keeps me on my toes and doesn’t leave a mess when we’re done, which is always a win. We get it out after tea and the whole family joins in. Every round feels a bit different, so we’re still picking up new tricks.

Took this mat camping and got plenty of use out of it. When the rain started, the kids sat under the tent and played on it instead of climbing all over me, which was nice. Packed away in no time once we were done.

I took this mat on holiday so my sister and I could have a few games, and it did the job nicely. It folds away in seconds, doesn’t make a fuss when packing, and I’ve actually got a fair bit better at chess because of it.

No trouble getting this in my suitcase. I take it to my cousins’ place and we always end up having a go. It’s done wonders for my confidence, which is more than I can say for most things.

We took this mat to the park for a picnic and it did the job nicely. Nice and light, so I wasn’t lugging half the house about, and it folded away easily once the kids had finished running about.
